JOB PURPOSE:

v 👉Provides rig site technical assistance to Drilling Supervisors and third Party Onshore Completion Engineers during operations.

v  👉Troubleshoots operational and technical completion problems.

v  👉Follow-up make-up/testing of completion sub-assemblies in coordination with all concerned parties.

v  👉Conducts equipment technical evaluation after getting a technical submission from the vendor in order to select the correct equipment for different applications.

 

Job-Specific Accountabilities (Part 2) 


v   Keeps up with close contact with administration organizations' architects, and stays up to date with ongoing improvements in the space of well finish innovation, gear, rehearses, and so on.

Minimum Qualification

Four-year college education in a Designing Discipline, preferably Oil or Mechanical. Four-year college education in Oil/Mechanical Designing or the same.

 

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  👉 Experience: 6 years of experience in oil & gas drilling/work over/completion engineering/operations

v  👉Knowledge: Good in English

v  👉Skills including:

v  👉Completion & work over Operations

v  👉Drilling Problem Solving (Lost Returns, Completion/Tubing Design Stuck Pipe, Hole Instability, Well Control)

v  👉 Drilling Fluids & Cement technology

v  👉 Blowout Prevention Equipment

v  👉Stimulation & well testing

v  👉Basic Open hole & Cased Hole Logging & Wellbore Stability

v  👉Risk Assessment

v  👉Pore Pressure and Fracture Gradient Well Cat software experience (preferable)

v  👉Basic Geology & Reservoir Engineering

v  👉Technical Writing o Hydraulics, Torque & Drag

v  👉Computing skills including MS Office.

v  👉Hole Cleaning and ECD behavior in Horizontal/ERD wells

v  👉Slick line Equipment/Operations

v  👉Smart Completion

Professional Certifications

v  Basic Safety Training ( preferred)

v  IWCF/Well Cap certification (preferred).

v  Membership in Leading Petroleum/Drilling Societies is an advantage.
