Bellman/Doorman Job Description

What is the job description and responsibility and what does basically a doorman do? The doorman works in the various hospitality industry including hotels, restaurants and clubs. They stand at the hotel front door, greeting customers, opening the doors, carrying their baggage and leaving them in the guest room by using luggage trolleys. The doorman is not just a doorman, it does more related jobs besides standing at the front door such as arranging a taxi cab, delivering the package, carrying guest’s luggage etc.

Qualifications:

 Must hold at least a high school degree or equivalent.

Prior working experience would be required as per the availability of jobs.

Having the ability to read, write and speak basic English. However, Arabic is (optional).
